Return & Refund Policy

1. Statutory Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you (who is not the carrier) takes possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (CMR Nexus GmbH, Wiesenstraße 21, 40549 Düsseldorf, Germany, Email: info@cmr-nexus.de) of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g., by email or letter).

2. Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including standard shipping costs (excluding any additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the standard delivery offered by us). No deduction fee (e.g., transaction fees) will be charged.

The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods.

Note: This does not affect the return shipping costs set out in Section 3, which are to be borne by the customer in the event of withdrawal.

3. Return Shipping Costs & Dangerous Goods Notice

The customer bears the cost of return shipping (cf. § 357 para. 6 BGB), provided that we have informed the customer of this.

Returns may only be made using the return label/carrier provided or confirmed by us. Unauthorized returns without prior coordination may be rejected.

For goods classified as dangerous goods (e.g., lithium batteries, energy storage systems), return shipping costs vary depending on the pickup address and carrier. Please contact our customer service for a cost calculation.

4. Condition of Returned Goods

The goods must be in an undamaged condition. Examination of the nature, characteristics, and functionality is permitted, as would be customary in a physical store. We may deduct any loss in value resulting from handling that goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods (§ 357 para. 7 BGB).

5. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Goods that are made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized,
Goods that are delivered sealed for hygiene reasons and whose seal has been removed after delivery,
Perishable goods,
Goods that may not be placed back on the market due to safety regulations (e.g., opened lithium batteries).

6. Cancellation Before Shipment

Regardless of the statutory right of withdrawal, customers may cancel orders before shipment. In this case, we will refund the purchase price minus any non-refundable transaction fees that have been definitively charged to us by the payment service provider (e.g., approx. 2% for PayPal).

7. Language

In the event of discrepancies between language versions, the German version shall prevail. Other language versions are for customer information purposes only.
